Hi, I'm SaRavana - a documentary-style photographer based in Singapore, capturing stories that feel timeless, intimate, and deeply human.

I shoot primarily in a documentary style - observing, waiting, and capturing moments as they unfold naturally. While I can direct when needed, my passion lies in finding the authentic within the unscripted.
Whether it's the quiet glance between partners during a wedding ceremony, the unguarded laugh of a family, or the atmosphere of a cultural performance, I'm drawn to the fleeting expressions that make each story unique.
My work covers a range of genres: weddings, pre-wedding shoots, couples sessions, family portraits, cultural events, and commercial projects. Each brings its own rhythm, and I adapt my approach to match.

Background
Based in Singapore, I've been drawn to photography from a young age. What started as curiosity with my father's camera grew into a deep passion for storytelling through images.
My lens has taken me across continents - from the slopes of Mount Kinabalu to the plains of Masai Mara, from the ghats of Varanasi to the streets of Chinatown. These journeys have shaped how I see the world and inform every frame I capture.
